ACT 1 – CHAPTER 10: Traitor’s Smile

The air was thick. Tense.

Axel's fist was still clenched.

Every student in green stood still, watching.

And the one in front—the one dragging Cy just moments ago—grinned as if the whole thing was a game.

Green Uniform Student: "So… you're the guy."

He took a slow step forward, eyes locked onto Axel like a predator sizing up its next challenge.

Alias stepped forward, voice firm.

Alias: "Let's stop here, Lucas."

Lucas.

Even the name caused a ripple of unease among the East University leaders.

Lucas glanced sideways at Alias, smirking.

Lucas: "Relax. I'm not here to start a war… yet. Just wanted to introduce myself."

He turned his attention back to Axel.

Lucas: "And now I see why everyone's talking about you. You've been stirring things up around here."

He paused, giving Axel a slow, almost mocking nod of approval.

Lucas: "Not bad. You had me worried for a second."

Axel didn't speak. His eyes were locked, focused—watching every muscle in Lucas' face.

Then, from behind—

Warren: "LUCAS! YOU F***ING TRAITOR!"

Warren, still recovering, pushed past Hector and Briggs and charged at Lucas.

Alias: "Warren, stop—!"

Too late.

WHAM!

Lucas' fist flew faster than anyone expected. Warren's body twisted mid-air before crashing to the ground.

Unconscious.

A single punch.

The courtyard went dead silent.

Lucas cracked his knuckles casually, like it was nothing.

Lucas: "I always hated his mouth."

He stepped over Warren's limp body and turned back to Axel. His smile faded—replaced by something colder.

His fist tightened.

He threw another punch—this time at Axel.

Alias moved. Fast.

He caught Lucas' wrist mid-air, veins in his arm bulging as he held it back.

Alias: "I said that's enough."

The two locked eyes.

Old tension. History. Something unspoken passed between them.

Lucas slowly retracted his fist, lowering it with a smirk.

Lucas: "Still strong, huh?"

He leaned close to Alias' ear.

Lucas (whispering): "But are you still willing to do what it takes?"

Alias didn't respond.

Lucas pulled back and patted Axel on the shoulder as if they were old friends.

Lucas: "I'm bored. And late."

He turned around, hands in his pockets, whistling casually as he walked off. The other green-uniformed students followed without a word.

It was like a ghost had passed through East University—and left a chill in its wake.

Axel exhaled slowly.

Axel: "Who the hell was that?"

Alias crouched down next to Warren's unconscious body, checking his pulse.

Alias: "That's Lucas Razon."

He glanced up at Axel.

Alias: "He used to be one of us."

Hector looked away. Briggs crossed his arms in silence.

Alias: "He was part of East before transferring to Northbridge College—one of the four elites in the University Belt. No one ever really knew why he left… but when he did, he didn't go quietly."

Axel looked at Warren, still out cold.

Axel: "You said there's a bigger system above East University. That other schools are part of it."

Alias: "Yeah."

Alias stood up, dusted his hands off.

Alias: "And Lucas? He's one of their strongest. A monster hiding behind that stupid grin."

Louise ran in from behind, stopping as he saw Cy slumped on the floor.

Louise: "Cy!"

They helped lift him.

Cy coughed and winced.

Cy: "What the hell was that guy made of…"

Alias: "Steel and trouble."

They helped Warren up too—groaning but regaining consciousness.

Axel looked at Alias, then at the rest of the leaders standing together.

Axel: "This… it's bigger than I thought."

Alias: "You still think you can take it all down alone?"

Axel (quiet, but firm): "I might have to."

Briggs finally spoke, his deep voice calm but sharp.

Briggs: "Then you better be ready. Lucas was just a warning shot."

Hector: "The University Belt doesn't like noise. And you? You're shaking the whole system."

Alias: "For now… let's patch up our guys."

He glanced at Cy.

Alias: "And Axel… be careful. You've caught their attention now."
