The war lasted ten years. The peace lasted three.

Now the world is breaking again. Magic has turned unreliable. Prayer brings only silence. Strange sicknesses spread through cities, and the dead are seen walking where kingdom once stood. No one knows what’s happening only that it’s getting worse.



Cael Atros, a former soldier cast out for a crime he didn’t commit, is one of many left behind after the war. Branded a traitor, forgotten by the kingdoms he bled for, he lives alone in the edges of civilization.



But survival becomes harder as the world begins to rot from the inside.

And whether he likes it or not, Cael may be among the last to stand simply because he’s already lost everything else.
