Vivienne Dubois emerged from the restroom with Cora bouncing excitedly at her side. Jorge noticed how the little girl chattered non-stop while Vivienne listened with genuine attentiveness.
"And then Daddy said we could go to the beach next weekend if I'm good this week at school," Cora explained, her eyes bright with anticipation.
"That sounds wonderful, Coco," Vivienne replied, adjusting the child's slightly rumpled dress. "The beach will be perfect this time of year."
Jorge observed their interaction with interest. Despite his initial skepticism, he could see that Vivienne's affection for Damien Thorne's daughter appeared genuine. She smoothed Cora's hair with practiced ease, checked her face for any remaining chocolate stains, and held her hand naturally as they walked back toward their table.
"Mr. Robinson," Vivienne acknowledged him with a polite nod. "Thank you again for showing us the way."
"It was my pleasure," Jorge replied, following a few steps behind them.
