Chapter 8 Vain Ex Girlfriend

After running around the field for more than a dozen laps and practising the Haoran Punch Exercise, Jacob felt that his whole body was full of vitality.

After returning to the dormitory to take a bath and change his clothes, Jacob planned to find a job.

Jacob had been living with his mother since he was a child. Every summer break, he would find a part time job to relieve his mother's financial burden.

"Jacob, why are you here?" Mia was shocked to see Jacob in front of her.

Jacob had already seen through Mia's vanity, so he had no special feelings about her. Jacob just said faintly, "Of course, I came here for dinner."

"Dinner? Are you kidding? Are you sure you're not here to work?" Mia was shocked.

This is the hotel “Great Dynasty”, a high-end spending place in Oakdale. Mia knew Jacob's family background. He was so poor that he couldn't even afford a glass of water here. How could he afford to eat here?

Beside her, Noah Sun looked at Jacob with interest and said, "And I was thinking who this was. It turns out to be the famous talented student of the Medical University, Jacob. Did you come here to spend too? Do you two know each other?"

Mia curled her lips in disdain and said, "He is my ex-boyfriend."

Although Jacob did not really mind about how people thought of him after getting the priest’s inheritance, the contemptuous words of his ex-girlfriend still made him frown.

Jacob did not understand why Mia was so angry with him. Was it really as she said that he was too stingy?

And Mia's next words made him even more furious.

"You're an illegitimate child. You don't even know who your father is. How dare you enter such a high-end place?" Mia said.

"Mia, do you really hate me that much?" Jacob said in a deep voice.

Mia said disdainfully, "I'm not angry. I just feel that it's not worth it for me to be with you for such a long time."

Jacob sneered and said, "That's really tough on you Mia. You've been with me for so long."

"You..." Mia was stunned.

Jacob sneered. He ignored them and walked quickly into the “Great Dynasty”. The took out the card that Gavin gave him and handed it to the security guard.

The security guard wanted to drive the ordinary-looking man away, but the card in Jacob’s hand made him shiver. He immediately stood up and took the card respectfully.

At first glance, the security guard's eyes immediately widened. This is the supreme card of Tyrell Corporation, which could be used to charge all the expenses under the company’s name.
