Chapter 204 An Independent Woman

"Heather, I'll have you on my bed one day..." Alex stared at them leaving and howled.

Jacob and Heather went to her villa. "Please have a good rest. I'll call you when the food is ready."

"Sure," Heather nodded her head and said. Heather was awed at Jacob who was busy cooking for her in the kitchen. She felt a sense of warmth in her heart, ignited by his caring gestures.

Tears welled up in her eyes when she recalled what happened to her years ago. She never had high expectations for her life; she just wanted to be taken care of by a person who truly loved her.

She had been working day and night these days. She fell asleep as soon as she was on the sofa.

Jacob shook his head. He gently pressed on the acupuncture point on Heather's head to improve her sleep quality. It was so rare for a woman to work so hard.

After tucking her under the covers, Jacob drove to a shop nearby to buy some ingredients. There was nothing left in the refrigerator as Heather had not come home for days.
