Shawn wrenched his hand forcefully, but Jacob's hand didn't move at all. It seemed as if Shawn's fist had been locked to the center of Jacob's palm and Shawn couldn't free it.
Shawn was slightly stunned. He tried his best to pull his fist out of Jacob's iron-like grip, but Jacob showed no sign of relenting. No matter how hard Shawn tried, Jacob did not budge at all.
Finally, Shawn gave up his efforts of retrieving his hand. His right leg flew up and kicked towards Jacob's chest. Jacob suddenly took a small step forward and leaned his body against Shawn's.
Shawn felt as if he had been hit by a train hurtling at high speed. He was thrown backwards three or four meters away. Shawn lost his balance and fell to the ground but fortunately, he responded well. He landed swiftly and immediately jumped up.
Although he was not injured, anyone with discerning eyes could tell that Shawn was defeated. He had lost the fight.
"You've lost," Jacob said flatly.
