Stephanie's eyes brightened up at the presence of a patient.
"Y-You are a doctor?" The man asked anxiously, but he couldn't care much now. He quickly grabbed Stephanie's hand and cried, "I'm Gael. Doctor, I beg you to save Laila, my wife."
"Don't worry, let me have a look."
Stephanie comforted him. She then placed her hand on Laila's pulse. After a while, she withdrew her hand and said, "It's okay. There seemed to be an inflammation in the uterus, which is fortunately not a sign of miscarriage. You'll be fine after rest. If you want, I can perform acupuncture on you and you'll recover sooner."
Stephanie took out the needle as she spoke.
"Sure," Gael let out a sigh of relief.
"Are you a Chinese medicine practitioner?"
Someone among the crowd asked in surprise.
"Yes, do you not trust my skills? I'm Vickers Wang's granddaughter," Stephanie said as she disinfected the needles.
