"Since you're here, don't just go for the simple dishes. Come on, the bill is on me. I'll treat you to the best dishes here so that you can go back and boast about it to your colleagues," Trent said sarcastically.
Jacob frowned. Ever since he came to Capital City, he realized there was an increase in arrogant people. Since this guy wanted to pick a fight with him, he would comply.
Jacob smiled and said, "Well, thank you for the meal then. I'm sure it won't be troublesome to ask for a private booth, right?"
"Of course not. I have a premium membership card here, and I'm entitled to book an intermediate booth. Doctor Ye, you probably don't know, but this card represents social status. Although this place is not exclusive to only members, not everyone can book a private room here this easily."
Trent spoke as he took out a golden card. He handed it to the front desk clerk and said, "A private room, please."
