"Then, did those sick people steal those sacrifices?" Jacob asked.
"That's right. Other than Bobby who went to play, there were two other adults. One of them was a bachelor and the other was a lazy and gluttonous person. They were very poor so they went and stole the sacrifices. As a result, such a thing happened," Newman said in a low voice.
Jacob's heart skipped a beat. There were some problems here. He thought for a moment and said, "Has anyone seen the God of Mountain before?"
"Well... No one has seen the God of Mountain before, but a few decades ago, someone saw some humanoid figure in the mountain. I heard that they're the God of the Mountain's servants. Other than them, no one has ever seen him before," answered Newman.
Jacob nodded. Most of the things that the village chief said came from the rumors in the village. Hence, he couldn't get anything useful even if he asked. Therefore, he intended to stop asking.
