"Are you disagreeing with my decision?" Halston asked lightly.
"I... I agree," Anthony knew that the more calm his father seemed to be, the more furious he was deep down inside. Hence, he decided to sit down timidly.
"You may suggest any suitable candidate in mind," Halston swept his glance around the room.
Everyone in the room looked at each other in confusion. Why was he asking them for candidates when he already had someone in mind?
"Please share your ideas. We have always been democratic in the Shao Corporation. Everyone present here is the reason why we are standing where we are today. I believe that none of you would want to take the whole Shao Corporation down in this crisis," said Halston.
"You're right, Old Master Shao. We are like a cake where all of our competitors want to get a piece of. We need someone tough, decisive and responsible to lead us through the crisis. We have to be more careful in picking our candidate," a shareholder said.
