"Not bad. You've recovered in such a short time. Looks like I’ll have to exert more force," said Jacob.
"You will die a tragic death if you defy my orders," Zun cackled sinisterly, "Why don't you turn around and take a look? That woman is currently in danger."
With a turn of his head, Jacob was shocked. He saw that the eyes of the women around Tina flickered with an abnormal glint. They were already under Zun’s control, two of them were holding daggers in their hands and putting them against Tina's neck.
The daggers had left a trace of blood on Tina's neck. If they were to apply slightly more force on their grasp, Tina's throat would slit and tear apart.
"Don't worry. We can sit down and talk this through," Jacob assured the two women.
They had their faces devoid of emotions. As Jacob took a step forward, they took a step back, dragging Tina along with them as the grip they had on the dagger in hand tightened.
