"She is kind, and God always favours those who are good-hearted, doesn't He?" Jacob smiled faintly. "Just like you."
"I'm not favoured by God at all. I finally met a man who has seen my face, but I've been returned like a damaged product." Yemora was irritated.
"Erh... can stop bringing that up?" Jacob smiled bitterly, he was speechless.
"I don't want to either, but I'm just upset," Yemora complained.
"You can vent somewhere else," Jacob suggested.
"Good idea. Maybe I'll go to the Capital City someday, you'll have to treat me well by that time." Yemora giggled.
"Are you... going to the Capital City?" Jacob was startled. "Doesn't your family restrict you from leaving as you please?"
"That was before but it's no longer the case. Now that we've been freed from our destiny, our old rules no longer apply. Otherwise, do you think I would let you off so easily?" Yemora glared at Jacob.
"Congratulations then." Jacob forced a smile.
