At that moment, Jacob suddenly pushed with all his strength. With a click, the worker let out a yelp. Then he felt that his legs, which had been numb, regained sensation all of a sudden. He moved them in confusion.
"Alright, stand up and move around. It's just a dislocation," Jacob said with a smile as he stood up.
"Ah... is it all fine now?" The worker asked in surprise.
"It's fine. Stand up and try to walk a few steps. I did that to distract you. It was a dislocation, that's all. Nothing serious," Jacob smiled. Just then, he shifted the worker's attention by frightening him. When he was caught off guard, Jacob reconnected his legs at once so that he wouldn't even feel the pain.
The worker stood up sceptically. He slowly took one step after another without his legs giving way. "It's fine, it's indeed fine."
"Not bad, young man. You're really something."
