After Laylani's introduction, Jacob decided to tour Asakusa Temple first.
Asakusa Temple was located in the eastern area of Tomen, and it was the oldest temple in the city. It was said that in ancient times, two fishermen were fishing and found a golden statue of Bodhisattva. The nearby residents had raised funds and built a temple to worship the Bodhisattva and it was named Asakusa Temple.
"Doctor Ye, this is the main gate of Asakusa Temple. Also known as the Thunder Gate, it was rumored to be the symbol of Asakusa Temple and the landmark of Nihonland. Legend has it that the gate was built to pray for peace and abundant crops." Laylani told Jacob the local legends. She had been to Tomen before and was familiar with it. She could be his tour guide.
