"Just have Rehan throw him out." Jacob laughed bitterly. It had been a couple of hours since he'd gone out. Hence, it was amazing that Maverick was still on his knees. The man was serious about getting him to Nihonland.


If Maverick had been more assertive, Jacob might have smacked him. However, he didn't. This was Jacob's weakness. He felt bad for the man. After all, he was only an errand boy, and Jacob didn't have to be tough on him.
