"We’re traveling. My friend feels unwell and would to rest for a few days here in your village," Jacob stepped forward and spoke out.


"No. It's inconvenient for us. You should leave at once," one of the men said firmly.


Silica stepped forward and performed a strange gesture. She then raised her head and said, "We’re in trouble. Please help us. My friend is severely ill."


"You're one of us?" They were stunned when they saw her movements.

A man bowed before sincerely rejecting their request, "I'm sorry. Something happened in our village, so outsiders are not allowed to enter. You'd better go somewhere else. About 100 kilometers southwest from here, there will be another village."
