Chapter 1707 He Looked Over All of You

"Tell me, did they actually look out for all of you?" Jacob asked again.

"No... "

"Exactly. All signs point to the fact that they aren't real. All of you keep worshipping something that doesn't even exist. When you fall sick, you choose not to go to the doctors; when you're a widow, you can't remarry. If this goes on, will there be anyone left in the village? Think about it," Jacob said in a low voice.

"Doctor Ye is right." Lincoln seemed to have made up his mind. "Tomorrow, I want everyone to come to our meeting. There are things that we need to change around here. Now, let's deal with what we have at hand. Let's not bury them first. Bring their bodies back to the morgue, then hold a funeral for them."

Seeing that Lincoln had his mind made up, the villagers could only nod their heads. They carried the two bodies and left the bamboo forest.

"Doctor Ye, thank you for helping me make up my mind today." After the villagers left, Lincoln thanked Jacob while they walked back.
