"I will try my best." Jacob smiled and held Irene's hand.
"If one day I got lost in the Three Thousand Worlds, will you come to look for me?" Irene asked.
"Yes, but I won't let that happen in the first place." Jacob stared into her eyes.
"You can't be too sure about that." Irene smiled. "Perhaps I'd end up like her someday."
"If that day comes, I promise that I will do my best to break all restrictions of this world and get you back from the Three Thousand Worlds. You're mine after all." Jacob chuckled.
"I don't know how true is that, but it makes me happy." Irene smiled and leaned in his embrace as she gazed up in the night sky. She was dazzled for a moment there.
The next day. The police chief's angry roar awakened the police officers who were deep in sleep. None of them knew what happened.
