William smiled and cleared his throat. "The biggest difference is Chinese medicine tends to look at the bigger picture. Their Yin-Yang five-element theory views the human body as a system where each part is interconnected, but there are still flaws from their point of view. For the medicine we studied, we would tend to break down the human body into smaller parts and try to fix the problematic parts."
"I've been studying the differences between these two too, and I have to say I was terrified with my conclusion," William said.
"William, what is your conclusion then? Maybe you can share it with us. If you manage to convince me, I can agree to study this aspect with you," Burke said.
"Burke, you've been talking about the scientific aspect of our medicine, am I right?" William smiled.
"That's correct. I believe in science because that's the only way to advance humanity." Burke nodded. "It has led us away from stupidity."
