Jacob remained silent as he stared at the stone pillars jutting out of the sea. He took a closer look at them and realized that they were actually statues of gods. The statues had been there for a long time, and after being exposed to the wind and sunlight for so many years, they were severely corroded and stained.


Jacob couldn't recognize the gods on the statues due to the corrosion, but the sense of antiquity that they exuded made him feel astonished.
