Chapter 2013 Shiny Object

They rushed out. Just as they arrived by the door, they saw a bright light flash across the sky and a saucer-liked shiny object appeared in the sky. It shone as bright as the sun. Somehow, it felt like daytime had dawned on the Golden Island.

"Is that a man-made sun?" Peter asked, dumbfounded.

"Something like that." Jacob was staring at that saucer in the sky, and he was uncertain too. "It looks so real but I don't know if it's equipped with the ability to support photosynthesis."

"Actually, the thing you're seeing right now is exactly the same as the sun. We can adjust its temperature, as well as the sunset and sunrise."

A voice suddenly started speaking. No one knew where the sound came from. Meanwhile, Jacob was staring at a hidden camera on the building in front of them. They were under surveillance. 

It was a familiar voice. It was none other than Yvidie. A light flashed in front of them and then a hologram formed.
