"I can give you what you want. Let me guess, a forever ever?" Jacob gazed dotingly at Irene. "How about I just skip everything and bring all of you to a place where we can be together forever."
"You can't run away from your fate." Irene shook her head. "If it wasn't for this, I might have not been by your side either. There are some things we have to complete together."
"I keep having this feeling that you're hiding something from me." Jacob stopped in his tracks. "Tell me. What is in your fate? I refuse to believe this is all about helping me."
"Look at that stall. It's selling Chinese knotting." Irene pointed toward a street stall where a foreigner was selling Chinese knotting.
Before Jacob could react, Irene was already walking toward the stall already.
"You tend to avoid this question every time I bring it up." Jacob sighed. "Why?"
