"Then it depends on whether she is in heaven or hell," Jacob replied.
"She must be in heaven." Fitzdurk pulled himself together and said, "As kindhearted as she was, she would definitely be in heaven. She passed away peacefully without being tormented by illnesses. Still, it was a pity that I didn't manage to help her even until she died."
"This is a sad story." Jacob smiled faintly and commented, "You are a persistent person, but you aren't stupid. I think you should have been aware that Breson was lying to you."
"Yes, I've long since known that he's been deceiving me." Fitzdurk let out a sigh before he continued, "I have always known it, but I didn't want to face reality because I have no idea what to tell her after I die. I lied to her, and I'm not even a man. I couldn't give her happiness."
"Don't worry. You won't meet her after you kick the bucket." Jacob said callously, "Because she is in heaven whereas you will certainly go to hell."
