Yaros turned around quickly. He bellowed in fury and threw a punch at Jacob. He had mustered all his strength when he swung his fist. Hence, the effect it would have was not to be underestimated. He swung his fist and it collided with Jacob's sword. With a loud bang, the energy ripples spread in all directions, twisting the space. 


Upon lashing out with his sword, Jacob realized suddenly that something was amiss. Although it seemed that Yaros was countering his attack, he was actually consistently absorbing his energy. Like a vacuum machine, he was slowly drawing his energy into his body little by little.


"You have the ability to absorb other people's energy." Jacob looked at Yaros in disbelief.


Yaros sniggered. "See, this is why the Vientiane Sect is different from the other sects. We can claim your energy as our own. Sadly to say, I'm not at my peak. I can't completely absorb your power. For now, I can only absorb one-tenth of it. The remaining energy is wasted for nothing."
