That might affect her. After all, she was just a young girl, so Jacob kicked Jeffrey and knocked him unconscious.
"Why didn't you kill him? Do you know where the person you are looking for is?" Shinon asked Jacob curiously.
"I know where she is. She is in this basement. I can find her by myself. Moreover, we have wasted a lot of time. We can't waste anymore on this guy," Jacob replied.
"It's just a question. How much time can you waste on him?" Shinon wondered speechlessly.
"You underestimate such an old fox." Jacob smiled slightly and said, "My friend's whereabouts are his last trump card. If it was you, would you show your last trump card?"
"I won't." Shinon thought for a moment, then shook her head and said, "So you think you can't waste time on him?"
"Yes." Jacob nodded and said, "I didn't kill him because I didn't want you to see something so bloody."
"Hmph, forget it. I often touch corpses," Shinon said.
