"Ah, are there wolves here?" Christine's face instantly turned pale. She quickly stood up and grabbed Jacob's arm because she knew that wolves were not solitary animals. If there was a wolf there, there might be a group of them around.


"It doesn't sound like a warning, but a plea for help." Jacob grabbed the machete in his hand, then handed a pistol to Christine and said, "Come on, let's go and see what's going on."


"But I don't know how to use a gun." Christine had never touched a gun before. She held the pistol in her hand and said in a daze.
