"Please… save me, I don't want to die." Teddy was scared to death.
"Sorry, I can't save you. My authority isn't that high," Jacob said with a shake of his head. "So you better fend for yourself. I really can't do anything else."
After Jacob said this, he turned around to leave. The man lunged forward, wanting to plead with Jacob, but he was stopped by an electric grid. Jacob turned and walked out the door, then heavily closed the iron gate behind him.
"Master, are you deliberately scaring him?" Gunner had came in from outside some time ago and heard the whole conversation.
"I'm not trying to scare him. But what kind of end do you think these people will bring him to by taking him away?" Jacob laughed.
“It's going to be miserable, I guess. Death would be the best outcome for him. What would be dreadful is being subjected to all sorts of cruel experiments. Honestly, if that were to be the case, I don’t think anyone would be able to endure it," Gunner shook his head.
