Upon entering the cave, they saw a gigantic she-wolf lying in a pool of blood. This she-wolf, pure white in color, had a swollen abdomen. A small, trembling wolf cub was beside her, along with several lifeless cubs.
"So, the alpha female is injured. It came to ask us for help," Jacob finally realized.
"Master, do these creatures understand human nature?" Gunner asked.
"They're second-order sea beasts, and they are known to be quite intelligent," Jacob replied, taking out some medicine and feeding it to the she-wolf. He then turned his gaze to the small wolf cub.
"This little one could be a future Wolf King," Jacob chuckled.
"Isn't the dispute over the Wolf King settled by force?" Gunner asked, somewhat puzzled.
"In some places, it is. But in others, it's not. Like here in the underwater world, things are very different from our world," Jacob grinned.
