Michael's impression of the girl changed a bit.
Despite her seemingly fragile appearance, this little girl has a strong backbone!
Michael placed a bowl of porridge in front of Sophia: "Have this bowl of porridge first, slowly."
The girl had been starving for too long. If she now wolfed down her food, there's a high chance she could upset her stomach. Given her frail state, it wouldn't come as a surprise even if she risked her life in doing so.
Her eyes sparkled as she ate. Although she tried to eat slowly, spoonful after spoonful was anything but slow.
Michael decided not to say more; after all, with him around, he wouldn't let any harm befall her.
His gaze then shifted to the wound on the girl's leg.
After each bowl she finished, Michael would place another in front of her.
Starting with only porridge, he gradually added a variety of dishes; not realising it, the entire pot of porridge and almost half of the dishes had made their way into her stomach.
"I can't eat anymore!"
