GINA’S POV
“Okay, that’s the last of it,” Adrian said as he deposited the last of the bags into the trunk and straightened.
“You think that’s enough?” Fabio asked, leaning against the roof of the car next to him.
I snorted, eyeing the groceries filling up the trunk. “No. It’s all going to finish in two days, tops.” I glanced at the two of them with a good-natured smile. “Thanks to you animals.”
“Hey!” Adrian laughed. “Have you seen how much i gemelli (the twins) eat? They’re the ones finishing all the food.”
Fabio rolled his eyes. “Whatever the case may be. If we need to, we’ll go grocery shopping every day. Whatever we can do to lift some of the weight of Alpha’s shoulders.”
At the mention of Alpha Andrea and all the stress she was currently undergoing, the mood became slightly somber.
