ANDREA’S POV
“Hey,” Kade whispered.
I didn’t realize I was making a fist until he wrapped his hand around it, gently pried my fingers apart, and intertwined them with his.
“Don’t let my grandfather get to you,” he said, gently pulling me to him.
I sighed, resting my head against his chest. “I just don’t get how he thinks he still gets a say after everything he’s done.”
“He doesn’t,” Kade said, stroking my hair. “He doesn’t get a say.”
He leaned back and cupped my face in his hands. “It’s me and you, okay?”
I smiled. “Yeah. Me and you.”
He pecked my lips softly and then put an arm around me, tucking me into his side.
He reached out and knocked on the door we were standing in front of.
“Come in!” the twins chorused.
“Hey!” I exclaimed as we walked in. “I thought I said get ready for bed.”
