Today was another beautiful day.

A whole month has passed since the start of the academy for first years.

And today's event was going to be brilliant.

Today was the freshmen's banquet for the first years that will be hosted by the second year seniors.

The second year Apex was responsible for today's banquet.

It was where people made connections and built relationships with one of the great four kingdoms of the werewolf domain.

There were four different factions in the whole academy belonging to the four great kingdoms.

Each faction recruited warriors every year according to their potential.

The Blue Moon faction has been formed for only two years since the year Lucian entered the academy.

Though it was the latest faction formed in this generation, it had been the most popular faction to be joined by eager young warriors in these two years too.

This year also was supposed to be a great one for recruiting talents for the Blue Moon faction because this year the Apex was from Blue Moon kingdom.

This was inevitable that Irina had to spend her time with these people in a banquet she deemed useless.

But since her brother and sister had insisted that she was the Apex and it was compulsory for her to attend to her other classmates in the first year.

Also she had to represent their kingdom in front of everyone.

Though she was used to people expecting things from her but attending banquets and mingling with new faces was really not her thing.

But how could she refuse her dear siblings. So now she was getting ready for the banquet that had one hour left before it started.

She had wore a sleek black gown made of pure silk with silver embroidery over it.

She looked nothing less than breathtaking with her silvery white hair shining along with her gown's silver embroidery.

The banquet hall was full of people who were already waiting for the banquet to begin.

Just a few minutes after everyone had arrived and before the start of the banquet the huge doors of the hall slid open and came in the highlights of today's banquet, the princesses of the Blue Moon kingdom.

As soon as Irina and Aurelia stepped inside the hall every eye turned to look at them.

The students held their breaths as they took in the sight of the beauty before them.

Aurelia with her light yellow gown and her black hair sliding down her waist was the image of a perfect omega princess.

The light colour brought a new glow to her skin and to some alphas she was shining like a goddess of beauty.

Irina on the other hand looked like a cold beauty whose whole facade screamed 'stay away from me' .

She looked like an ice queen, the perfect image of an aloof alpha princess.

As the beauties made their way to the center of the hall the Apex of the second year finally broke the silence.

" Oh welcome. You have finally decided to grace us with your presence first year Apex.

I am Kyle Nox . The second year Apex. I have heard a lot about you.

Its nice to meet you." The second year Apex repeated the line he had rehearsed many times in order to impress the Blue Moon kingdom princess.

" Its good to see you too senior. I hope I was not to late according to the given time."

Irina replied not even bothering to put on a fake smile.

Seeing the girl replied he was not too disappointed afterall her had heard that this princess mostly ignored irrelevant people.

So at least he was not irrelevant in her eyes. That was a huge relief.

Last year when Lucian was recruiting new warriors for the Blue Moon faction in the academy he had actively participated and had won a considerable high position that was also given to him considering that he was the Apex of his year.

He just wanted to make a good impression on this third princess who was rumoured to be the king's favourite child.

Though Kyle was not trying to cury favours he still wanted to be good to them.

Maybe he would meet them in near future after the academy is finished.

Afterwards he greeted Aurelia also. While he and Aurelia spoke on some issues in the Blue Moon faction in the academy, Irina had quietly slipped in one of the secluded corners of the hall.

The second year Apex had announced the start of the party and thus everyone was seen busy talking with each other.

The commoners sucking upto the nobles and the nobles sucking upto the royalty.

It was the same cycle that continued every time a banquet was hold but Irina had never gotten used to it.

She had just got a message from Lucian reminding her to interact with as many people as she could.

So she had to step out of her secluded area and decided to talk with some people that might be useful to her in the future.

A wine glass swirling in her left hand, she walked out of the shadows into the hall.

Some people even started a conversation with her and she politely answered them.

At least she considered her own answers to be polite.

Though she still was not smiling, it was a rare occasion for the onlookers of she smiled.

She reached an alpha boy who was a commoner but she had noticed him in the combat session with instructor Colsen.

He was a decent fighter at his age. Just that his control over his affinity was a bit slippery and not perfect.

If teached properly he could reach a very high rank and be beneficial to their kingdom.

"Hey! Are you looking for someone? If not then may I accompany you? " Irina and gently.

The boy was surprised when he recognised Irina as the Apex of his class.

He quickly greeted back.

" I am all alone princess Irina. What do you wish to talk about? "

And thus the princesses of the Blue Moon kingdom became busy with their own tasks.

Irina recruiting the commoners whom she saw that they were worthy of being polished by her kingdom and were capable of protecting it.

While Aurelia mingled seamlessly among the nobles, other royalty and some second year seniors.

But the banquet is still far from over.

Let's see what will happen when princess Irina suffers from another problem while handling the whole bunch of unruly brats tried to ruin everything.
