EP.17 The Female Knight Caught in a Trap

A simple room with nothing but the essentials.

Lydia was alone in the room given to her by the Elysis family.

The day's work was already over.

All that was left was to rest for tomorrow.

That was all-until someone knocked on the door.

Knock, knock-

"Who is it?"

There were only a few people who would come to her room.

Usually, it was a soldier or servant of the Elysis family.

But the voice she heard was unexpected.

"It's me, Lydia."

"Ah…! I-I'm sorry…! Lady Selene… I thought it was another soldier…"

The voice belonged to Selene.

It was the first time she'd come at this hour.

Remembering her earlier rudeness to her mistress, Lydia looked visibly flustered.

"It's fine, may I come in?"

"O-of course…!"

When the door opened, Selene entered, dressed in a luxurious gown.

Her noble bearing made Lydia recall her own behavior from earlier.

"T-to come to such a humble place at this hour…"

"Are you saying the room the family gave you is humble?"

"N-no…! That's not what I meant…!"

Whenever Selene acted this way, Lydia could never match her.

She knew Selene was teasing, but couldn't say anything after her earlier rudeness.

"Hehe… it's fine. Anyway, you asked why I came, right?"

"Is there something you need…?"

"You apologized to Kasar the other day, right?"

"Y-yes, I did…"

It wasn't a topic Lydia liked.

She'd only apologized because she thought it was the honorable thing to do as a knight.

She still hadn't accepted him.

Bringing up the apology made her uncomfortable.

Of course, she couldn't show this in front of her mistress.

Even if she didn't accept him, her mistress had.

"It was a bit unexpected. Lydia, you know you're rather strict, right?"

"Ugh… I just thought I should act honorably as a knight of the Elysis family…"

"Right. Even though you probably didn't want to, I appreciate that you apologized. It was an honorable thing to do."

"Thank you, Lady Selene."

Her mistress's praise for her honorable behavior eased Lydia's discomfort.

Her mistress had affirmed the action she'd taken, even though it had been a little humiliating.

But something felt off.

A faint sense of unease lingered.

"Since this is a good opportunity, I've prepared something so you two can get closer."

Selene pulled out a fancy bottle of alcohol.

Just a glance showed it was the kind nobles enjoyed.

"Alcohol…?"

"That's right. I prepared it especially, so take it and have a drink with Kasar, just the two of you."

"Why would you…"

"I told you, it's to help you get along. Or…"

Selene slowly approached, radiating the unique charisma of a noblewoman.

Lydia was a trained knight, but this kind of atmosphere was harder to face than a monster's roar.

"You're not saying you don't want to follow my order to get along, are you?"

"Of course not… It's good for us to get along, since we both serve you…"

Lydia's voice didn't sound happy.

She had no reason to refuse the order.

As knights serving the same master, it was better to get along than to fight.

But that didn't mean she liked it.

"Here, take it. It's expensive, so don't leave any-share it all."

"Yes… thank you."

In the end, Lydia had no choice but to accept the alcohol.

As soon as she handed it over, Selene left.

"I'll go right away tonight."

Selene turned away with a mischievous smile.

If there was a problem, it was that her smile looked a bit wicked.

But Lydia could only watch her leave.

'There's plenty of drug in there… They'll have no choice but to get close…♥'

The drug Selene had added to the alcohol was an aphrodisiac for women.

No matter how strong one's will, it was impossible to resist.

Even the most pious saint would crave a man.

That's how strong the drug was, according to the description.

If you added the effects of alcohol, there was nothing more to say.

It didn't just make a woman aroused.

It also made her crave a man, creating a powerful synergy.

"It's Lady Selene's order… I have no choice but to go…"

Lydia, knowing nothing, slowly walked down the hallway,

the bottle of drugged alcohol in hand.

Knock, knock-

The long-awaited knock at the door.

A few seconds later, Lydia's voice was heard.

"I'm here on business…"

"Lady Lydia, is that you? Please wait a moment."

I opened the door right away, so she couldn't use sleep as an excuse to leave.

When the door opened, Lydia stood there, looking rather reluctant,

holding the bottle of alcohol Selene and I had prepared.

"What brings you here at this hour?"

"Lady Selene ordered me to share this with you."

Her impressive appearance matched her armor.

Her orange hair showed off her appeal as a female knight.

"I see… Lady Selene must want us to get along. Sharing good alcohol with a beautiful knight is a pleasure-please, come in."

I pretended not to know anything.

She clearly had no idea her mistress had tricked her.

"Uh… excuse me…"

Lydia entered the house, not knowing she'd fallen into the trap Selene and I had set.

She set the glasses on the table and naturally sat down, looking at me.

"Just so you know… I still haven't accepted you."

"You've served the family for a long time. I understand it's not easy to accept someone like me. I get it."

"…You understand. But as knights of the same family, let's at least drink as equals tonight."

"Then, since you have more experience, I'll pour for you first."

I poured her a glass.

The crimson alcohol, meant only for women, filled her glass.

"I'll pour for you too."

This time, Lydia filled my glass.

But for me, it was just regular alcohol.

"Let's toast to Lady Selene, who provided this drink…"

We each took a sip.

A sweet flavor and aroma spread through our mouths.

With a drink like this, she'd never guess it was drugged.

"It's… very good…"

"Lady Selene must have put a lot of thought into it."

Good. She still has no idea.

Now I just had to wait for the effects to kick in, chatting with her in the meantime.

"So… what would it take for you to accept me?"

"If I get to know what kind of man you are, and you prove yourself, I'll accept you… That's for me to decide."

Lydia seemed eager to finish and leave, drinking quickly.

But that only made the effects come on stronger and faster.

"As expected of a knight from a prestigious family, you're strict."

"Of course. Now that you're a family knight, you should be careful… if you're not, I won't let it go…"

One sip. Then another.

She kept drinking.

Soon, her cheeks were flushed.

"Hnn… it's… a bit hot in here."

"If you're hot, why not take off your armor? You're not on duty now anyway."

"You're right… That would be more comfortable…"

It seemed the alcohol was starting to hit her.

Lydia took off her armor without hesitation.

But the real reason she felt hot wasn't just the alcohol.

"Haa… haah… Still… it's a bit hot…"

With her armor off, Lydia was left in only a black leotard.

The tight-fitting leotard was quite revealing.

It wasn't easy to see, but it was clear her lower half was even more exposed.

"If you're hot, maybe you're not feeling well? Should I help you loosen up?"

I got up and approached Lydia.

Normally, she would have snapped at me not to bother,

but now she was clearly tipsy and affected by the drug.

"No… that's not necessary…"

"But Lady Selene ordered us to get along, so don't refuse."

Even when I put my hand on her shoulder, Lydia didn't resist.

If anything, she seemed to like it.

"Sigh… Lady Selene wanted this too… If it's just a little…"

Now was my chance.

The once-uptight female knight was now completely defenseless.

It looked like I could take her right then and there.

'But… if I want to do this right… I should take it slow and make her want it herself.'

Lydia would never forget tonight.

It would be the day she found herself wanting something shameful.

"Then, would you lie down on the bed?"

Normally, being told to lie on the bed would make her wary,

but now her judgment was clouded.

"Ugh… o-okay…"

Lydia answered as if she couldn't shake off my hand on her shoulder.

She had no idea what was about to happen.
