Ken dived forward and with his sharp eyes he was to sight the being moving. He dragged a Hunter down and helped him to avoid being cut by an unseen blade. He looked at the Hunter and noticed his sour face.
"Are you okay?" Ken asked concerned. Despite his brutal and authoritative nature, he still cared for his fellow Hunters. He always made sure they were alright. He only wanted them to be stronger.
The Hunter didn't respond. His eyes were filled tears. He had just seen fifteen of his fellow Hunters die within seconds. His fellow Hunters who he had spoken with before they had faced this wave demons. They had thought this raid as nothing but a child's play.
Not only did he just see his fellow Hunters die but he had almost died himself. If not for the early intervention of Ken, he would have died just like the other Hunters.
