010: Groundbreaking Invention

Alice ran her finger on the bookshelf as she was searching for a spell book that she read a few years ago. Alice knew that the book was written by her mother, Queen Aleena, and was carried inside the spatial ring. The ring itself was Alice's right as the Princess of Nightflame Castle. But she opted to not bother with it. Carrying such precious treasure would only do harm on her person, it's better to be carried by Catharina.

The spell book was rather basic and mediocre, consisting of a day to day spells collection that were used by low level servants in the Nightflame Castle. Alice didn't expect that this basic spell book would be her greatest benefactor.

[Basic Spells For Daily Use]

"Here you are! Long time no see. Sorry for neglecting you for all these years." Alice was smirking from ear to ear.

The book's buckle unlocked as it sensed Alice mana.

"Vibrating Spell… Vibrating Spell…" The book opened its page as Alice poured her mind into it.

Once she found the page that she's looking for, she brought the memories back to the surface. She could now draw the Runes Formation without looking at the page.

"I got it all. Time to put the runes to the test!"

Alice went to the study room at the attic where Catharina spent her time doing the various paperwork for the Village Hall.

She began to draw the Runes Formation on a piece of paper. Not just one, but three runes adjacent to each other. Every Rune Formation has its own power output so the user can choose the desired speed.

"Alright! It's done!" Alice picked the paper, seeing it through the light from the window. "Moment of truth!"

Alice gently infused her mana into the runes. Slowly, the paper was vibrating as intended and could be controlled after inputting her mana into different rune. The mana that was required to activate the runes was almost non-existent. Even a commoner who could use magic was able to use it!

Brrt…

Brrrrttt…

BRRRRRTTTTTT!

"It worked! Hehehe!" Alice couldn't stop smiling. "Now, let's draw this rune onto the real thing!"

Once deactivated the rune, Alice went downstairs, she took a knife from the kitchen and headed toward the warehouse where Catharina stored the fire wood. She took one, and began carving a sizable wood into her desired shape.

However, since she never did any carving in her previous life, the wood turned out very wonky and rough. She could feel her inside churned upside down just imagining if that cursed thing entered someone's cave of pleasure.

"Tsk, of course a kitchen knife is not fitted for a delicate work like this." Alice tossed the piece of wood away into the hearth. "No matter, let's try again. This time, with my blood knife."

Alice actually kept her innate ability that she got from the system [Claw of Blood] a secret from Catharina and others.

She spent countless hours in the Village Library regarding Bloodmancer Subclass and found nothing. She was being cautious to not arouse unnecessary trouble since she had yet to know how the world saw this subclass.

After ensuring the windows were shut, Alice cut her thumb with the kitchen knife. She then began to mold her blood into a small knife, it gradually hardened like a steel.

The curved shape of the blade worked perfectly to shave the wood bit by bit. The passive effect of this skill [Instant Damage: 25%], made the carving very easy as if she was carving a block of soft cheese, or maybe a candle.

Around an hour later, Alice managed to carve the wood into a tubular shape with a rounded tip. She scraped every sharp edge, smoothing the surface even further. Once the surface was very smooth and perfect, she applied some oil on it, and cooked it inside the wax so it would not absorb any orgasmic fluid when used.

Needless to say, Alice was a very meticulous and detail oriented person when it came to her works.

"I think this shape would do! Mm! It has a good length, and has decent girth!"

Afterward, Alice carved the Rune Formation at the base of the wood. To make sure it won't get copied easily, she applied another layer of random Runes Formation which functioned as an inscription code for the actual spell.

"Ehehehe! It's completed! Now, I just need to do some promotion in the market square!"

Wasting no time, Alice wrapped her invention in a piece of cloth, got outside, locked the door and headed straight to the House of Artisans to register her invention and acquired the official permit paper to sell her product. This paper was equivalent to patent paperwork should somebody dared enough to claim her invention as theirs.

Well, the Succubi and Incubi were respectful toward each other, they would never betray their kin even if it would cost their life. However, the same couldn't be said to the criminals and opportunistic merchants who were aiming to monopolize one's product or commodity and steal other's business ideas and inventions.

The Market Square was bustling with customers as usual. The visitors who wanted some souvenirs from Tusa Village filled every stall and vendors.

"Excuse me! Coming through!"

Alice weaved her way into the crowd, utilizing her small stature between the gap while clutching her prized invention close to her chest.

Before long, she managed to get out of the sea of people unscathed. There she found Lisha, the oldest of the Succubi trio. Unlike Violetta and Kaelith who worked as Courtesans during the night, Lisha was one of the receptionists at the House of Artisans when she had no classes to teach.

The red skinned succubus tilted her head when she noticed Alice. "It's rare to see you here, young lady." Lisha greeted her with a tad of scrutinizing gaze.

"Oh, hello there, Miss Lisha. Erm… I'm here to register my… product."

"Your product? It's better not one of your little mischief."

"Yes… Well… It's still a prototype, but I believe it'll sell very well!"

"Alright then. Let's get inside and have Lady Morwenna appraise your product." Lisha stood up, ushering the little demoness upstairs.
