The year is 2026. Japan is a scarred land — a nation crawling out of the ashes of a near-apocalyptic collapse. Cities lie in ruins, nature reclaims forgotten streets, and remnants of civilization cling to order. But while the surface begins to rebuild, a deeper threat festers beneath it.



From the shadows, monstrous beings known as Hollowborn hunt the living. Once human, these creatures are born from deep despair — manipulated by an unseen force that thrives on fear, suffering, and stolen souls.



To stand against them, the covert organization KIBOU wages a losing war in silence, hoping to preserve the last fragments of humanity.



Then, a nameless boy is found among the wreckage.



With no memory of his past but a strange power similar to the Hollowborn, he becomes both a mystery and a threat. Yet something within him resists the corruption. Given the name Yuuki — "Hope" — he is taken in by KIBOU, not as a soldier, but as a gamble.
