Chapter 25 — A New Gift

About thirty minutes after arriving at Sunny's room...

Skylar stands up and exhales loudly: "Phew... All cleaned up."

Julian, who had been sitting idly until now, straightens his posture and turns away. Without looking back, he waves and says coolly: "I'm heading back first. You carry your luggage yourself."

Skylar dashes to the doorway, frowning: "Hey! What kind of behavior is that?!"

Julian doesn't respond. He keeps walking down the corridor without a glance.

Sunny remains seated on the chair, her expression tired and sluggish. She yawns and covers her mouth with one hand: "Yawn... Little Angel... Have you finished cleaning? I'm getting sleepy..."

Skylar quickly drags her worn-out suitcase to the door, casting a suspicious look at Sunny: "Sleepy already? It's not even late! At the very least, eat and shower before bed, okay?"

"I knooow..."

Skylar nods in satisfaction: "Good."

Without another word, she turns around and slams the door shut with a loud thud. Then she walks away.

The moment Skylar is gone, Sunny springs upright and grabs her phone. On the screen is a new friend request—from Leo. She immediately accepts. As soon as she does, she sends him a message:

Sunny: "How did you find my account?"

Leo replies instantly:

Leo: "Well... When I got back to the dorm, I overheard some people talking about you—friends, I guess. I suddenly realized I hadn't added you yet, so I ran over to ask them. They gave it to me! Cool, right?"

Sunny: "Impressive! It's really fun having someone like you in the group. Want me to give you Ice's account too?"

Within five seconds:

Leo: "Yes!"

Meanwhile, at the entrance of Julian's room…

Skylar arrives and finds a young man standing outside. He looks composed and mature. The man speaks first:

"Did you have fun at school today?"

Skylar jumps back slightly in surprise: "Ah! Huh...? You're... Nathan, right?"

A flicker of surprise crosses Nathan's face. But he quickly returns to his calm demeanor: "How do you know my name? I don't think we've ever spoken before."

"I heard it from Ice," she replies.

"Ice?"

Skylar nods: "Yep! That's the nickname I gave that cold-faced guy!"

"Ice..." Nathan murmurs, then suddenly bursts out laughing. "Hahahaha..."

Skylar tilts her head, watching the man in front of her laugh like a kid. Her expression is filled with confusion: What's so funny?

Nathan laughs until tears form at the corner of his eyes. Wiping them away, he says: "Ha... Ice... And you even called him cold-faced... You've officially made my day, little colleague."

"Colleague?"

Nathan nods seriously: "That's right. Little colleague. The two of us are teammates now! I'm the bodyguard, and you're the maid."

"You haven't even properly introduced yourself yet, have you?"

"True..." Nathan agrees.

"My name's Nathan Dang. You can call me Brother Nathan, or however you prefer."

Skylar nods again. Then she raises her head, places a hand over her heart, and announces: "I'm Skylar Trinh. Call me whatever you like! I hope to receive your guidance, Brother Nathan!"

Nathan smiles warmly: "Deal."

Just then—

Knock knock knock.

Julian appears, already dressed in his uniform. He leans against the doorframe, frowning: "Hey... Are you two done talking yet?"

The moment Skylar sees Julian, her expression switches into cunning mode. She grins mischievously and walks up to him, poking a finger at his stomach.

"Aww... Poor young master couldn't wait, huh?"

Julian brushes her hand away and turns his face aside: "No way! And what were you two talk—"

Before he can finish, his stomach betrays him with a loud series of growls: Grrrrrr...

Skylar stares straight at Julian, eyes wide. He flushes red.

Julian hurriedly waves his hands and stammers: "I—It wasn't me!"

Why?! Why does my stomach always betray me?! It was the same at the hospital too! Julian screams inside.

Skylar crosses her arms: "Huh? No one accused you of anything. Are you confessing of your own free will? How clever..."

Julian turns even redder. He points toward the kitchen: "Just—go cook something already!"

Skylar steps forward, pokes his belly again, and says playfully: "Alright, alright... I'll listen to you, Your Highness."

From the side, Nathan watches the two interact, the corners of his lips lifting slightly.

The young master used to be expressionless—like a blank A4 sheet. No smiles, no emotions, just like an air conditioner in a room. But now… seeing him act like this, it warms my heart. Maybe... Little Sky is the key to all of this. I truly hope the young master stays like this every day.

Before Skylar walks into the room, Nathan reaches into his pocket and pulls out a brand-new phone. He tosses it to her casually.

"A welcome gift. I've already set everything up. Just turn it on and use it."

Skylar blinks in surprise. She catches the phone, looks at it for a second, then smiles: "Thank you, Brother Nathan."
