**KIAN**
The moment I walked through the backdoor entrance to Obsidian, I felt the tension in my shoulders ease. This was my territory—my kingdom of darkness and pleasure. The club wouldn't open for hours, but the silence felt comforting. Familiar.
Unlike the rest of the world, nothing here was unpredictable. I controlled every aspect of this place, from the temperature of the rooms to the selection of members permitted inside. It was a world built on rules—my rules.
"Boss!"
I turned to see Roman approaching, tablet in hand. My club manager and one of the few people I trusted completely.
"You're early," I said.
Roman nodded, falling into step beside me. "Security issue with one of the VIP rooms. Nothing major, but the camera feed was glitching. It's fixed now."
"Good. Anything else?"
"Membership applications are up since that tech conference. Word is spreading."
