Passenger Seat Surrender

## Hazel's POV

"You're coming home with me," Liam stated in a tone that left no room for negotiation, his violet-blue eyes intense as he led me toward his car.

"Liam, I don't think—"

He cut me off with a kiss that made my toes curl. "We have lost time to make up for."

His words sent a shiver down my spine. Despite everything that had happened, my body betrayed me, responding to his touch like a flower turning toward the sun. He opened the passenger door of his sleek black Aston Martin, and I slid inside, my short red dress riding up slightly.

Liam's eyes darkened as he noticed. "That dress should be illegal."

Once he was in the driver's seat, he pulled me close for another kiss before starting the engine. This was madness. I should be furious with him for keeping his connection to Leo a secret. I had every right to walk away, but my resolve crumbled under his touch.

"I've missed you," he whispered against my lips.

"It's only been a day," I managed to say.
