Chapter 151 - Protective Fury and Exposed Past
Liam's POV
After the whirlwind of revelations today, my only desire was to return home and embrace my son. My son. Leo was actually my flesh and blood. The thought sent waves of elation through my chest, but Hazel had succumbed to exhaustion from the medication and collapsed onto Damian's leather sofa. She refused my suggestion of moving to a bedroom, insisting she wanted to remain close to everyone. So I settled beside her, cradling her head in my lap as my fingers traced gentle patterns through her silky hair.
Dr. Evans instructed us to wait until Hazel regained consciousness before departing. He handed me a mountain of documentation about her current pregnancy and extensive records from Leo's gestation, which he had also supervised. After our lengthy discussion, he bid his farewells and disappeared into the evening. Allen recognized his cue to leave, and Evelyn concluded her video conference.
