Sibling Rivalry

Allison heard about the fight from some gossiping students and rushed there, the fight was already separated by some securities.

When she saw Madison looking angrily at Rose, she rushed to her. "Maddy, are you okay?" She checked her out, then turned to Rose. You should never have fought with her; she is your sister."

Rose didn't say a word, she had already made sure she dealt with Madison. They were dismissed and everyone started leaving, she watched Allison lead her sister to the car.

She went to the closest room and shut the door crying her eyes out, Jackie was surprised to see her. He came in here to cool his head.

He walked to her. "Miss boss are you crying?" Instead of answering she hugged him. She didn't notice he was in when she entered.

"Am I that bad, while dad treats me and brother like outcasts?" Jackie parted her hair.

"It's okay you don't have to think of him at all." He understood where she was coming from.

"Brother says the same thing, am I that bad?" She cleaned her tears.

"I won't say you are that bad but to tell you the truth you are not good either." She laughed when he said that.

She was surprised to see herself cry in front of him, she had never cried in front of anyone except her brother.

"You are being too honest you know." She didn't expect that from him.

"I will be heading home." He picked up his bag from the desk.

"Won't you be so nice to take a crying lady home." She was not surprised he was leaving.

"We are not friends, I have to go do something important." His shift was starting soon.

" Okay. "

Rose was in her car when Raymond's call came. "Hello, brother." He knew he was calling because he must have been told about the fight.

"Teddy bear I told you not to get into any fight." Raymond was really worried.

"It was Madison who started insulting you and mom, you know I can't take that." That's her limit.

"Your throat is cracked did you cry teddy bear?" He could hear it from her voice.

"I didn't." She lied.

"Hmm, you have started lying to me, okay bye see you at home." He hung up.

"Driver go home straight." She ordered.

As Rose sat in her car, she couldn't shake off the feeling of sadness and frustration that lingered long after the fight. Memories of her childhood, filled with her father's favoritism towards Madison, flooded her mind, making her wonder if she was indeed the problem. She thought about her conversation with Jackie and how he had been honest with her.

She appreciated his straightforwardness, even if it stung a bit. Rose's mind wandered to her family dynamics and how her father's favoritism had always made her feel like an outcast.

Raymond was in his car and Mikaela was with him too, he called her to meet him. "Sir, where are we going?" She asked as he started the engine.

"Do you know anything a woman may like?" He asked cause he wanted to share her up, he knew expensive won't work for sad Rose.

"It depends on her choice or mood." She said she wondered who he wanted to give it to.

"She is sad." He didn't want to talk much about it.

"Then food may work, food works for me when I am sad, my siblings and friends know that," she answered.

"I didn't say you should talk about yourself."

Raymond and Mikaela drove to a fancy restaurant in silence. Raymond was lost in thought, thinking about his sister's situation and how he could help her. Mikaela, on the other hand, was curious about where they were headed and what Raymond had planned.

When they arrived at the restaurant, "Wait here I'll go order takeout." She nodded and he left.

Raymond ordered a variety of dishes, hoping that something would lift Rose's spirits. As they waited for the food, Mikaela noticed the way Raymond seemed preoccupied, his brow furrowed in concern. She wondered what was bothering him and whether she should ask.

She has been standing there for two minutes when someone said "Pretty nice to meet you again." It was Raymond's brother.

"I didn't get your name pretty," Lucas said.

"My name is Mikaela." She answered.

Mikaela couldn't help but notice the way Lucas had looked at her when he approached them outside the restaurant. There was something in his gaze that made her feel uneasy, and she was glad when Raymond intervened, putting an end to the awkward encounter.

She wondered what Lucas's true intentions were and whether she would have to deal with him again.

"What did you think about my other, We can talk about it over a fancy dinner." He wanted to lead the way when Raymond came." Oh, who is it if not my brother?" Raymond sighed as he said that.

"Where do you want to take my secretary?" Raymond asked as he walked to them.

"To have a fancy dinner, right pretty." He touched her shoulders, and Mikaela removed his hands immediately.

"I was waiting for you sir, We can leave." She wanted to take the bags from him but he held them tight so she left them with him.

"Let's go." He led the way as they walked away.

"Raymond doesn't deserve someone like you he won't treat you right, be with me I will treat you like a princess!" They both heard Lucas yell, but still kept walking away.

Some maids were attending to Madison's wound. "You shouldn't have fought with Rose." Allison has been saying that for some time now.

"Sure shut up Allison, she deserved it," Madison yelled as the hot water touched her skin. "Are you mad do you plan to ruin my skin?" She yelled at the maid.

"I am sorry young Miss." She bowed and apologized.

"Just get out." She yelled.

"You should have let her tend to your wound with the water and cream, You said Rose deserved it but she beat you black and blue." Her mother said angrily.

Lucas came in and met the argument. "What is going on?" He saw the wounds on Madison. "Who did this to you?" He believes no one can touch a Williams.

"That bitch Rose, I will teach her a good lesson." Lucas was not that surprised.

" Hmm, does that mean my target is Raymond?" Allison was not surprised to hear her siblings say such things, it's not like she liked Rose and Raymond that much.

"But brother, Maddy provoked Rose first." She won't like them to target Rose and Raymond.

"Can you stop being a fool for once and choose to do the right thing?" Madison was fed up with her sister.
