A warrior. A beast. He rose from earth and storm, wielding a staff that cracked mountains and laughter that shook the stars. He defied heaven, tore down its armies, and for a moment, made the gods afraid. But the heavens did not lose, and the Monkey King was defeated. His name erased. His soul scattered. Centuries have passed, and now a boy with no lineage, no sect, and no status survives as a fighter-for-hire in the shattered borderlands of the world. He’s fast, too fast. Strong, too strong. And when pushed to the brink, his eyes burn with golden fire, and his enemies fall like leaves. He doesn’t know who he is. But the gods do, and they are watching. As hidden cults, broken immortals, and beast clans begin to stir, rumors spread of the rebellious Monkey King, a soul too wild to die, walking once more in human flesh.
