CHAPTER 9: WIND's WRATH

Blood splattered the shifting floors of the Infinity Castle as blades clashed with thundering force.

Muichiro and Genya fought with every ounce of will they had, their bodies bruised, their spirits stretched to the edge.

Kokushibo was a storm.

He moved like windless shadow, sword carving air into death. His Moon Breathing: Fourth Form - Moon-Drifting Illusion created spiraling arcs of light that tore the battlefield apart.

Muichiro met it head-on with Mist Breathing: Seventh Form - Obscuring Clouds, vanishing into vapor, striking from unseen angles.

But Kokushibo adapted. Every time.

Genya pulled the trigger of his shotgun, reloaded, and charged, teeth clenched. He took a slash to the shoulder and stumbled.

Kokushibo raised his blade to end him.

And then—

A shriek of wind. A roar.

"BACK OFF FROM MY BROTHER!"

A howling gale exploded from the corridor behind.

Sanemi Shinazugawa crashed through a broken wall, eyes wild, a crooked grin on his face. His scars burned in the moonlight.

Kokushibo turned—

And for a brief moment, his many eyes widened.

"You…"

Sanemi's blade flashed.

Wind Breathing: Fifth Form – Cold Mountain Wind!

A spiraling blast ripped through the air, forcing Kokushibo to retreat half a step.

Then—

Wind Breathing: Seventh Form – Gale - Sudden Gusts!

The very floor of the Infinity Castle tore beneath them, walls collapsing as gusts turned the air to blades. Kokushibo parried, but for the first time, he was forced to dig in.

The winds howled.

The moonlight pulsed.

Two storms clashed.

Muichiro dropped beside Genya, helping him stand.

"You alright?" he asked.

Genya grinned through blood. "Yeah. That loud idiot came at the perfect time."

As Kokushibo met Sanemi's unrelenting barrage, the three slayers prepared.

Wind. Mist. Flesh and steel.

The battle for legacy, vengeance, and blood had begun again—

And this time, the Shinazugawa brothers fought together.
