Easy Breezy

Many jaws dropped the moment Case finished the task in just a minute it started.

The Earth's Hero, who was able to produce a name for himself, is starting to show his skills and the baseless rumors of him cheating began to fade.

But people still refused to believe it, especially the man who threw up earlier.

"You bastard! You cheated! How come I, who received countless things from my sponsors, couldn't enter that path like you? What, you found a loophole again?"

Case face-palmed the moment the rumors regarding him cheating his way to pass the test were being used against him now.

Still… who gives a shit whether they believe him or not?

Case didn't care.

"Are you accusing me of cheating? Then does that mean you're questioning AI, the most neutral sentient being, which is also the judge, that it's wrong?"

The party on the other side turned silent.

Who hasn't made their way towards the vault of Alexandria to receive their gift?

Who hasn't been informed about the technology of the Antavon Kingdom and how they rely on AI most of the time to accomplish tasks?

Only idiots would come here unprepared.

Case then thought of an idea. 'Well, how about I use AI to clear the confusion once and for all?'

Case hadn't seen anyone speaking to him, which made him decide to do it himself.

"AI, have I cheated or used a loophole passing the Way of Runes?"

An answer came from the walls almost right away.

"Case Kellys, the Cross District representative, hasn't violated any rules or found a loophole regarding the test, which has nothing. This trial purely tests a person's vitality, mentality, and how humans would adjust to such a condition of a sensation."

Case then looked at the man who was glaring at him before sticking his tongue out.

It made the man even more annoyed.

"AI, can I move to the second test now?"

After Case had spoke at the air, the monotonous voice replied.

"Affirmative."

Smiling from ear to ear, Case turned his head and gave everyone a wave goodbye.

He will not be wasting his time taking care of small fries.

But that doesn't mean he's just going to let them be.

"If you want to pass the test, heed my advice earlier. You'll just have to adjust to the situation, that's all."

Not letting another complaint from those mouths, Case made his way towards the second test of the camp.

'There are a lot of facilities inside this dome. Amongst those facilities is probably the test prepared for this camp.'

Case continued walking as he followed the holographic sign that AI had prepared for him to follow, which was relatively convenient since it took up less space inside the dome.

Why use those signs if you have great technology to aid you?

'I loved advanced technology.'

It didn't take a minute till Case arrived at his destination.

"Welcome to the second test of Earth's Camp, GravSync Calibration Protocol. This is a high-tech assessment to align a subject's gravitational field with artificial planetary standards. It is both a trial and a training regimen, often required before deployment to foreign worlds or gravity-variable zones.

"The second test will assess your balance tolerance curve, inner ear recalibration index, grav-neural latency, and lastly, posture retention score."

Seeing the road he had to cross, Case realized that the second test was no different from the first one, if not for the fact that they are various situations on this task.

This test would examine a person's balance and how they would fare on different kinds of terrain that had various gravitational forces.

'The balance tolerance curve will measure how well someone maintains posture and spatial awareness under fluctuating G-forces. The recalibration index will assess someone's vestibular adaptability, which is crucial for preventing vertigo on shifting gravity worlds. The latency aims to gauge the delay between gravitational changes and neural-muscular response. Lastly, posture retention score or PRS, will quantify someone's ability to retain composure while executing complex tasks.'

Case remembered those words since he was able to read the regime in the books he received from Velez.

Well, even without the books, Case had already recognized those terms as he had studied them in his past life.

Everything that one had to learn regarding the universe, Case studied them all and ingrained every single world in his head.

'This Earth's Camp… is so darn easy!'

Case almost wanted to burst out laughing that the first two tests were something he could easily do, but he needed to appear serious to make those watchers believe he was as hardworking as others.

If he was laughing while taking the test, those people would get suspicious, and his goal could end at that moment.

'Hahaha! What the hell! And here I am, prepared so much for this. Oh well, it's not like I'm an amateur anyway.'

Case was slightly disappointed, but he couldn't remove his joy as this would showcase his talent for all the world to see.

The more he gained fame, the more his plan could solidify.

'Praise me, revered me! I'll show you all who had messed with my life!'

Case took his step forward towards the second trial, and the gravity changed greatly.

Things were flowing around, and if he wasn't careful, he would be swayed by their flow. But with an impeccable balance such as his, nothing about the task is hard.

Case continued moving forward, passing by the countless roads that he had to cross with different situations.

It was almost impossible for amateurs to pass through it without going a step back, but Case didn't even flinch or barf.

He walks with tenacity and composure.

Soon, he was able to reach the end of the road without breaking a sweat.

"Heh, easy breezy."

The alarm inside the dome rang, and the even voice of AI resounded all around the place.

"Case Kellys of the Cross District. Passed the second test. Thirty points have been rewarded."
