CHAPTER 02 : Seven Years Ago

Back then, her real name was Meera Rathore. She came from a simple middle-class family. At just twenty years old, Meera had gone for an interview at Singhania Corporation — one of the city's biggest companies — and with her hard work and qualifications, she was selected.

Meera was known for her dedication, her intelligence — and her dreams. She was proud to have secured the job. But fate had other plans.

After working at the company for a few months, Meera began to notice something unsettling. Mr. Vikram Singhania — her boss — had started keeping a watchful, dark eye on her. At first, she tried to brush it aside. But when she confronted him, Mr. Singhania skilfully manipulated the situation, convincing her that he meant no harm. He gained her trust — or so he thought.

Two to three months later, Meera accidentally discovered the ugly truth. Hidden behind the glamour of the corporation was a web of fraud, illegal deals, and black business. She was shocked — her so-called idol, Mr. Singhania, was not the man she had believed in.

Determined to expose the truth, Meera began secretly gathering evidence. But pretending everything was normal at work grew harder each day. Though she masked her fears well, Mr. Singhania started to suspect her. Something in her eyes had changed. But Meera remained calm, trying to avoid any suspicion.

Finally, after weeks of careful planning, she had everything she needed — solid evidence of Singhania's crimes. With trembling hands, she packed the files, ready to take them to the police.

But Vikram Singhania was one step ahead. He discovered her plan and confronted her, demanding she hand over the evidence. Terrified, Meera refused and tried to escape. She ran to his wife, Mrs. Vandana Singhania, to Miss Dia, and even to Mr. Singhania's mother — begging for help. But none of them stood by her. Instead, they handed her over to Vikram himself.

Once again, he demanded the evidence. When she refused, he revealed the terrible truth — her family had already been taken hostage. Her mother, Sarika Rathore... her brother, Manas Rathore... her father, Sanjay Rathore — all trapped, their lives hanging by a thread.

To save them, Meera surrendered the evidence, pleading for mercy. But Vikram Singhania showed none.

He burned their house, leaving her helpless. Then he dragged her to the burning ruins — and threw her into the fire.

But fate intervened. Her mother and Meera survived — barely.

As flames surrounded her, her body broken, her heart shattered, one thought burned stronger than the pain:

I will not die tonight. And if I live… I will destroy him.

Seven years later, Meera Rathore no longer existed. The world now knew her as Myra Singh — a hidden, yet famous writer with a dark purpose.

Now... let's see who her next target will be... in the next chapter.
