PROLOGUE: BLANK PAGE

Inside a modestly lit room within the grounds of Jujutsu High, three of the most enigmatic sorcerers of the era sat together. Utahime Iori, her arms crossed and expression unmoving, stared at the man across the table. Mei Mei leaned back comfortably, swirling a cup of tea in her hand. Gojo Satoru was lying upside down on a couch, legs kicking aimlessly in the air.

"Do you really think you can beat Sukuna?" Utahime asked, tone completely serious.

Gojo turned his head lazily. "Of course I can. I'm the strongest," he said with a beaming grin, throwing a peace sign in the air. "I'll fold him like laundry."

Utahime's eyes narrowed into razor-blades. Gojo, in true fashion, grinned wider.

"Don't give me that dead stare," he said, sitting up. "If I don't joke about the strongest curse in history, I might actually feel the pressure!"

"Then grow up," Utahime retorted, sighing.

That's when Mei Mei smiled—a slow, catlike curve that immediately triggered internal alarms for both Gojo and Utahime.

"I've got an idea," she purred. "Let's play a game."

Gojo blinked. "A game? We talking cards? Truth or dare? I suck at Uno."

"Neither," Mei Mei said, producing a blank sheet of paper. "You both sign this. Then I write something on it. Whatever I write, you both have to do."

Gojo tilted his head. "Sounds shady as hell."

Utahime raised an eyebrow. "Why would we agree to that?"

"Because," Mei Mei sipped her tea, "you're both boring me."

Gojo snorted. "Fine. What's the worst that can happen?"

Utahime glared at him again. "If this ends up stupid—"

"It's going to end up stupid," Gojo interjected.

Still, curiosity—or perhaps foolishness—prevailed. Both of them signed the paper. Mei Mei then turned away, her pen moving quickly, scrawling across the sheet like it was an ancient curse being written by a jester.

She slid the paper back across the table and watched, amusement dancing in her eyes.

Gojo picked it up first. He read the line, paused, and then burst into laughter so violent he almost fell off the couch. Utahime snatched the page and scanned the words.

"If Gojo Satoru ever defeats Sukuna, Utahime Iori must marry him."

Her face turned crimson. "YOU—!!"

She raised her palm, about to slap Mei Mei across the face. But Gojo, still laughing, intercepted her hand with ease.

"Now, now," he said through giggles. "Don't hit the person who just gave me the greatest reason to win."

"You're insane!"

"Insanely motivated," Gojo winked. He turned to Mei Mei, still grinning like an idiot. "Thanks, Mei Mei. You've just made this personal."

Utahime stood frozen, crumpling the paper, muttering something about quitting Jujutsu High.

Mei Mei only smirked, stretching her arms.

"Consider it a pact," she said. "A ridiculous pact... but a pact nonetheless."
