CHAPTER 47: FINAL HUNT

THE CITY TREMBLES

The streets of London were filled with unease.

The Grim Reaper's terror had stretched far and wide, and now, with Alexander closing in—the entire country was holding its breath.

Reports flooded in.

Anonymous warnings.

Mysterious disappearances.

A storm was coming.

IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Alexander stood in Mark Alberton's office, leaning against the desk.

"He's cornered," Mark said, flipping through the latest reports. "But a cornered beast is the most dangerous."

Alexander merely smiled, adjusting his gloves.

"Then I'll rip out his fangs."

Mark exhaled, shaking his head.

"You sound like a damn villain sometimes."

Alexander's smile deepened.

"Villain? No. Just the executioner."

MEANWHILE – THE CREW

Back at the detective office, Rose, Darmian, and Madison sat in silence.

The tension in the air was suffocating.

Rose clutched her hands together, her mind racing.

"If Alexander kills the Grim Reaper…"

"Then what?"

For the first time, she feared what came after.

But one thing was certain—

This was the beginning of the end.
