CHAPTER 34

"Can a mythical beast really become that massive?"

Aokiji's eyes widened in shock as Ragnar transformed into a 300-meter-tall colossus, each movement radiating divine might capable of shattering islands and uprooting mountains.

Even though he had read CP0's dossier on Ragnar, seeing it in person was another matter entirely. The godlike scale and oppressive aura hit him like a tidal wave.

"Besides Kaido… I've never seen anyone get this huge," Akainu muttered grimly. His hand instinctively clutched the still-healing wound across his side—a wound Kaido's dragon form had left not long ago.

He hadn't even fully recovered from that clash.

  And now… this.

"Being big isn't always an advantage," Aokiji said sharply, forcing himself to focus as he steadied his breath.

High above, Ragnar lowered his gaze.

The ice cone Aokiji launched earlier had shattered under his left foot, but in its wake, a new danger had emerged. Frost had begun creeping up his leg, an eerie, biting chill sweeping through his body from toe to hip.

The ice, alive and hungry, splintered and branched with terrifying speed. If left unchecked, Ragnar would become a towering ice statue in seconds.

"You're talking about others, not me."

Ragnar's sneer echoed like thunder across the battlefield.

  "Samadhi Fire!"

With a divine breath, flames surged from his mouth—denser, hotter, and more violent than anything he could unleash in human form.

A tidal wave of sacred fire roared to life, devouring the creeping ice on his leg and sweeping down toward Aokiji below.

  "Great Eruption!"

Before the fire could land, Akainu roared. Magma erupted from his feet, propelling him through the air. With both arms raised, his fists slammed into the air, unleashing twin magma dragons that spread into two enormous molten palms.

The blazing palms collided head-on with the divine fire, forming a violent vortex of red and gold that rippled the sky itself.

It stopped the fire just short of Aokiji—and kept the freezing momentum intact.

  "Freezing Time."

Aokiji had moved in perfect sync with Akainu.

As the magma intercepted the divine flames, Aokiji extended his right palm toward Ragnar.

  "Time Capsule: Ice Age!"

A monstrous wave of cold surged forth—a shockwave so intense it froze even the air itself. It flew like a frost dragon, slamming into Ragnar's chest.

The divine giant began to freeze over.

First his legs, then his waist… and it didn't stop.

Prison Ship — Watching in Awe

On the distant prison ship, navy officers leaned over the rails, hearts pounding.

  "Did it work?!"

"It looks like it's working—he's freezing!"

Inside the reinforced cage, Kaido chuckled under his breath.

"Fools. Maybe if you dream hard enough…"

Just as half of Ragnar's titanic form turned to solid ice, he smiled.

  "As big as I want."

Under Aokiji and Akainu's stunned gaze, Ragnar's towering body compressed—shrinking rapidly from 300 meters to a form barely taller than an ordinary human.

Yet instead of diminishing, his aura intensified—a divine pressure that could crush a mountain now condensed into a smaller, faster, more volatile form.

  "Akainu…"

  Aokiji's face paled.

He had been so focused on freezing the giant, he hadn't accounted for this.

  "Akainu, MOVE!!"

At the same time, Aokiji raised his left hand. Several massive ice spears—each over a hundred meters long—crystallized instantly in the air and launched toward Akainu's position like missiles.

  "Damn it!"

A flicker of shock and fury passed through Akainu's eyes.

He could sense it—just like Aokiji, he too was an Admiral, trained to feel killing intent and threats on a different level.

  "Inugami Guren!"

  (Dog Bites Red Lotus!)

In an instant, Akainu twisted around. His right arm exploded into molten lava, forming a massive canine-shaped head of fire and brimstone.

Armament Haki surged over his limb, blackening the magma and reinforcing it.

Not just ordinary Haki—he used it at the highest level.

Flowing Entwined Haki. Exterior Emission. Internal Destruction.

  All three techniques activated simultaneously.

  He thrust his arm upward—

the lava dog head surged into the sky and bit down on the incoming ice spears, incinerating them mid-air with brutal force.

  But then—

  "Palm Thunder!"

A flicker of spatial distortion behind Akainu.

The air twisted, and in that breathless second, Ragnar appeared like a phantom.

From a normal-sized man to a towering three-hundred-meter titan in the blink of an eye—Erlang Shen's divine form loomed above.

A monstrous palm surged down, wrapped in blinding white arcs of electricity and coated in Conqueror's Haki.

At the center: a titanic dog-biting red lotus constructed of divine flame and thunder energy, enhanced with spiritual force, barreled down like the wrath of heaven.

  BOOM!!

A deafening clap of thunder split the sky.

Black and white lightning—pure Conqueror's Haki and divine thunder—lashed outward in twisting dragons across the heavens.

The sheer force of the blow ripped apart the clouds above the G1 branch, leaving a gaping hole hundreds of meters wide in the sky.

  Wind howled violently.

Clouds were torn into swirling fragments.

  Lightning danced in every direction.

The heavens opened, and a torrential rainstorm descended.

Apocalyptic scenes flashed one after another above the Marine prison ship—like a divine judgment had come upon them.

Every officer aboard stood frozen, staring upward, completely speechless.
