Chapter 4 Back to School.

Today my mom woke me up early because we had to get ready for my first day of school. Although did I sleep at all, well I mean when I fall asleep in this world, I appear in the dream world, or something like that, where the Cosmos is constantly waiting for me. Although, since I don't feel tired or like I haven't slept for days, so I'm eighty percent sure that I'm sleeping when I get to another world or another dimension that is separate from this world.

Actually, when my mom found out from Mrs. Landau that she would pay for my education, she was both happy and sad. She was happy because her favorite, sweetest, cutest... *ahem* basically she was glad that I would be able to get an education. Of course, at first she tried to refuse, well, not from school, but from paying for Mrs. Landau's school, saying that she would pay for everything herself, and so I had to persuade her, and after a couple of puppy eyes, she agreed.

I hope my preferences won't be too much of a shock to her, and even if I find a girl I want to marry, I'll never abandon my mother.

Quite soon, we reached a large building where many people were gathering, with children. And of course, just by looking at these people, it was immediately clear that they were living in prosperity, and only I was here as a black sheep, among all this nobility. It's like one of the tropes of games that I hate: "a poor commoner gets into a magic academy, where everyone offends her, but a prince appears and saves her, punishing the villain", ugh, I'm going to puke now.

In fact, I don't think that I will be offended or humiliated, and all because of my connection with the Landau family...

One time I came to visit Serval, and it so happened that Mrs. Landau received guests, noble ladies from different families. And when Mrs. Landau saw me walking through the corridors, she immediately grabbed me and began introducing me to her guests. Pretty soon, we found ourselves in the assembly hall. where the director appeared, who began her boring monologue, because of which I fell asleep. And why didn't my mother prevent me from sleeping at such an important event? Because she also fell asleep, and in the end we both fell asleep leaning against each other. Until Serval woke us up.

"Luna, wake up, the opening speech is over." - I heard my friend's voice. and immediately opened my eyes and began to rub them, since they were a little stuck together.

The first thing that appeared in front of me was my best friend Serval, behind whom stood Mrs. Landau, who was laughing.

"Like mother, like daughter." - she said cheerfully, to which I blushed and began to shake my mother so that she would wake up.

"Huh? Where am I?" - my mother asked, opening her eyes.

I just rolled my eyes, since it was just a joke.

"Anyway, I take it we have to leave now?" my mother asked, and Mrs. Landau simply nodded.

After wishing us luck for the last time, our parents left.

Meanwhile, we approached the auditorium where our first introductory lesson would take place, and here our friends Gepard and Bronya met us. Unfortunately, the cute Lynx was not here, since she had not yet reached the required age, and therefore would only go to school in 1-2 years.

"Hello." - I said, approaching these two, who looked a little upset.

"Okay, what happened to you?" - I asked, since we still had time before the first lesson.

Bronya was the first to answer.

Having calmed my friends down, we headed to the classroom, where all our classmates had gathered, who were just staring at us, which I liked.

I started to say to myself that they were just kids, and pretending that we were not paying attention to them, we took the empty seats.

I sat in the left row, the seat by the window, apparently Gepard wanted to sit next to me, but Serval got ahead of him, taking the seat next to him. Gepard just pouted and silently sat behind.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at this little prank between the brother and sister.

Soon a woman entered the classroom, no older than thirty, holding a pinto of papers in her hands.

"Good afternoon, class," she said, putting the papers on the table, and went to her daughter to write her name.

"My name is Angela Sergeevna, but you can call me Miss Sergeevna. I will be your class teacher until graduation. After graduation, you will all take high positions in different structures. So study hard and well," she said.

Then she began handing out the same sheets of paper that she brought, and it was something like a test…

All the following questions were similar to the first one, or you had to write the word correctly with the right stress, which was easy for me.

And only the last two questions were about multiplication and division. Question 25: 10*10? I'm sure that many will not answer this question, since I don't think they have encountered multiplication yet, and what is it anyway... It all started with easy questions, and ended with difficult ones, but at least for children.

But the next question and perhaps the very last one in this test, most likely no one will answer. Question 26: 15/0? If you don't take into account that not all children know what division is, but the fact that you can't divide by zero.

Having finished writing the test, I put my pen down and looked at the clock. Only five minutes had passed at the beginning of the test.

Looking around, I saw how all the children continued to write, even Serval, who was sitting next to me, was now on question 12.

I had no choice but to sit quietly and stroke my tail, which was on my lap, and of course Serval, seeing this, fought the urge to touch my tail, which I only allowed girls to touch.

After the time was up, Miss Sergeyevna collected the sheets and began checking.

"The highest score, received by Luna Serad," the teacher said.

I smiled involuntarily, not because I received the highest, since it was self-evident. I just don't hear my last name Serad often, so I think they are not addressing me.

In second place is Bronya, who almost got the highest score, and after her are Gepard and Serval, with the same scores, which is not surprising, since they are family, which means the tutors were the same.

Afterwards, the names of children were named, whom I don't know, or rather don't want to know.

Of course, when my name was called, I got a few unpleasant looks, which I felt, but I didn't pay attention to them. Let them think what they want, the main thing is that they don't bother me or my friends...

Anyway, there were a few more lessons that followed, which weren't particularly interesting, since I knew everything the teacher was talking about, the advantage of a past life that I don't remember...

All in all, the first day was pretty normal, as Cosmos said that it would be okay, although I continue to feel unpleasant looks on myself, but again, I just didn't pay attention to them. In fact, I think that children go to school not only to get an education, but also to establish connections. Whether it's marriages or friendships, or something else.

And the only one here to get an education is me, and Bronya, who is already so high up that I'm sure I'll have to shoo away the flies that want to stick to her.

Anyway, at the end of the lessons, we all went out to the main hall of the school, where I noticed Mom and Mrs. Landau, who were talking, and next to them stood a woman, who was most likely sent by Madame Cocolia to take Bronya.

She herself most likely cannot come, since a lot of noise immediately arose, which would not be desirable.

Anyway, we approached our Mom, and Serval immediately began to praise me, how smart I am, and that I got the highest score...

I saw Mom's proud smile, as if I won some world Olympiad, and Mrs. Landau had a sly smile.

"Oh, how? Then, I am sure that the children of Luna will be very smart," she said, continuing to smile.

I know what kind of game you see, woman! Casually hinting at Gepard and me, which will never happen, not in this life, not in any other, if I have another…
