POV: Bruno
Damn bat...
What now? What should I do?
Lost in thought, my mind was racing.
I can't let this bat get the upper hand on me.
But against all these beasts... I'm at a severe disadvantage.

Flashback
Back at the castle.
Flávia and I were talking about my transformation.
— "Bruno, your transformation is truly impressive.
You, Ignis, and Astrel can achieve full synchronization.
That might not sound surprising to you, but most fusions with familiars don't help much."
— "For example," she continued, "if I fuse with Virelia, the effect is limited by our power difference.
But with you, Ignis, and Astrel, it's different. Your levels are close... nearly on the threshold of Level 2."
— "Moreover, your personalities complement each other. The proud and strong Astrel, the lively and sweet Ignis... and you, Bruno, who carry both pride, spirit, and gentleness within you.
Together, you form a perfect synergy — of flames and soul."
— "However, your transformation is always limited by one thing: you lead.
Even with adaptation and synchronization, you're the one who controls the final form."
— "If you all could allow the transformation to adapt to the situation — instead of centralizing the Vitae in just one — you could unlock new powers. New abilities."
End of flashback.
---
Remembering Flávia's words, I made my decision.
— "Ignis... take over."
I sent the mental message to Ignis and Astrel.
They were confused for a moment — but understood, at least on a surface level, what I meant.
Pulling back, our transformation began to ripple.
My body pulsed, and our form began to change.
Under an intense violet Vitae aura, I felt myself sinking.
Disappearing.
Only half of my body remained... fused to Astrel.
Ignis, who was under my neck, began to merge with me.
A new arm — draconic — emerged where mine had been torn off.
Wyvern wings tore from my back, shimmering black.
Ignis covered my head with a helmet.
On Astrel, purple energy spread, molding a suit of armor made of flame and crystal.
From his back, wyvern wings also emerged.
His usual tail had vanished.
In its place, three thin black tails with arrow-shaped tips — similar to Ignis's — spun behind him like living projectiles.
And thus was born...
Corpus Trium Ignium.
The Form of the Three Fires.
But this time, controlled by Ignis.
This was the Eques Draconis Version.
---
My legs were gone.
Only my upper body remained, fused to Astrel.
I was no longer in control.
Ignis had taken the reins.
The Vitae poured onto the spear.
— RAWWWW!
With a savage roar, we charged the beasts.
The spear descended like an arrow toward the Borug leading the siege.
> ZZZZ!
The screeching sound of the spear colliding with horns echoed.
But then, something new happened.
A second mouth opened on the upper part of my body.
The unstable Vitae, flowing through the crystal embedded in my skin, gathered there.
Flames began to form.
And then... a shade of blue.
BOOM!
The attack sliced through the Borugs like an infernal blade.
> TRIIIIIIII!
A sonic blast struck me.
— Shit... I thought, unable to move my body.
Ignis raised a barrier — shaped purely by the instinct of a sub-dragon.
A massive corrosive web fell upon us.
Moments later, a brutal blow struck the barrier.
BOOM!
The venomous serpent's tail broke through part of the defense.
A corrosive hole burned into it.
— GRAAAHHH!
Ignis roared fiercely and took flight.
The bat tried to block him, but this unstable form was a symbol of ascending power.
We soared into the sky.
And below our mouth... a terrifying energy began to build.
Ignis unleashed his blue flame again.
It fell like an infernal blaze, engulfing the beasts.
All but the bat.
> Kriiii!
It screeched, charging ferociously.
But we didn't retreat.
We rushed straight at him.
The intense Vitae channeled into the spear.
While Ignis wielded his flame, I... guided it with my mind.
We fought in the skies.
My mind directed the spear.
Ignis, the flame.
Our strikes clashed against the bat's claws, while it retaliated with sonic blasts.
Ignis pulled back.
Then, a thought surged through my mind:
— The Lord of Fire's Charge... but altered...
Altered? I wondered.
But Ignis gave no answer.
He simply urged me to act.
— You little brat... I'll trust you this time.
I poured Vitae onto the spear — it began to burn.
Astrel, understanding everything, prepared for the charge.
Now it was Ignis's turn.
He gathered all the Vitae from our bodies — especially the excess stored in the crystal.
A blue flame burst from his mouth, heading for the spear.
It spiraled around the metal, merging with the attack.
The blue fire was assimilated — under immense pressure.
The fire spun around the blade, merging with it.
---
Investida do Deus do Fogo Azul.
Charge of the Blue Fire God.
In absolute harmony, the three of us advanced.
The great bat, sensing the power approaching, launched a sonic wave and tried to camouflage itself.
It flapped its wings in desperation, flying in circles.
Becoming more and more invisible.
But we didn't stop.
We pressed forward.
Giving no room for escape.
It ascended into the sky, desperate.
— Fool.
We dove toward the ground.
Spinning through the air.
We locked onto the damn spider… and the serpent.
The spider, panicking, launched countless corrosive webs.
Its stinger pointed directly at us.
The serpent slammed its tail to the ground, spreading a poisonous substance laced with Vitae.
Its tail ignited in flames.
---
Impetus Dei Ignis Caerulei.
Divine Blue Flame Strike.
The attack seemed to devour everything.
The webs were unraveled mid-air.
The serpent charged with its venomous tail.
BOOOOOOM!
The impact caused an absurd explosion.
A wave of blue fire engulfed the battlefield.
Purple smoke rose amidst blue sparks.
— RAAAAHHHH!!
Ignis roared savagely, blowing away the smoke.
There we stood.
Proud.
Standing tall.
Before us…
The corrosive spider had been obliterated.
The serpent had lost half its body.
That's two dead.
Three remain.
— Come on, beasts... I thought, grinning.

POV: Flávia
In the sky, the battle raged on.
Thunder crashed around me from all directions.
Crack, crack, crack.
This wolf-like beast is extremely hostile — it never stops advancing.
Damn creature.
Flames danced, and thunder tore through the sky.
Not even the butterfly or the minotaur could match such power — whether from lack of hatred or mastery.
Such a cursed beast… I have to kill it first.
With my rapier, I lunged at Feraliss, even under lightning.
A flame barrier appeared in front of me.
But even so, an ice rapier pierced through it, reaching Feraliss's face.
Crack!
A ball of lightning collided with the blade, exploding and taking the weapon with it.
But it was enough.
A new rapier, now made of blood, appeared in my hand.
Charging forward, I slashed one of Feraliss's six hands.
— "Did you like that, you cursed beast?" I asked, laughing.
